The recently elected Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said e-Governance will go a long way in checking corruption.He further said that the state government was planning a 100-day programme to bring transparency and efficiency in the working of various departments.
Under the programme, the state government will focus on all sectors like health, education, power and public health engineering department. Stating that power shortfall is a big problem in the state, the youngest Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that the state government was planning to create a transformer reservoir so that blackout can be minimised.
