Mumbai: Regular transmission from the Mannvikas Samajik Sanstha Community Radio station at Mhaswad, Satara District of Mahrashtra has started on January 26 to establish agriculture related knowledge ICT network and knowledge delivery mechanism.
As an effective toll, the community radio will help in capacity building of the community based organisations in the use of audio tool as a means for social and economic empowerment.
In addition, it would help in laying special emphasis on the themes that support the poor and marginalised members of the local community in improving social conditions and quality of their cultural life.
