Opportunity: National Informatics Centre, Government of India, which is the nodal agency for providing backbone support for all e-Governance initiative in the country, is said to come up with two Data Canters of tier 2 and 3 class in two Indian cities - Pune and Hyderabad. Additionally, these Data Centers will serve as disaster recovery centers for NIC's state-level Data Centers which is spread across 30 states in the country.
The Data Centers are said to have a storage capacity of 100 terabytes each with a physical server capacity of 100 racks each.
